Walk and Talk Sessions

Walk and Talk sessions are therapy sessions that happen while we are taking a walk together in nature.


Connection to the natural world is increasingly recognised as part of our mental health. These sessions are an opportunity to integrate the natural world in our surroundings into our work. The environment and movement of the walk becomes part of our dynamic.


The sessions happen in any weather except severe weather. If the weather forecast is not compatible with a walking session we will discuss other options in advance.


We will schedule an initial session online or over the phone to discuss our work, your needs and how we can proceed. We will also discuss how we will navigate confidentiality in a public space.




Some practicalities to consider are:

  • weather appropriate clothing
  • sunscreen
  • waterproofs
  • water
  • bathroom needs
  • We will discuss all practicalities during our initial session.
